Here are a few healthy options for you guys that are staples for me when the snacking monster arises. All of my snacks offer best ingredients from the three macronutrients, BCAA’s from protein, Fiber from carbohydrates and polyunsaturated fats like omega 6 from dietary fats.
First we have a simple protein shake. I prefer one that is whey based for the BCAA’s.
Second, very simple walnuts/ almonds and blueberries and/or strawberries. In here, we’ll find healthy fats, Fiber and once again some BCAA’s.
Lastly and is a personal favorite of mine avocado and tuna which provides healthy fats from the avocado and BCAA’s. And to get a little bit of fiber use a thin slice of whole grain bread for some fiber.
These snack options are convenient to make, aren’t expensive and can be accessed from virtually anyplace.
